Financial Information

  1. The advertiser and its agency are fully responsible for the amount owed for an insertion order cancelled after the cancellation deadline.

  2. Commission: 15% to legal advertising agencies supplying camera-ready material.

  3. Guaranteed positions are available on a non-cancelable basis at an extra charge of 15%. Publisher reserves the right to select ad location unless advertiser pays for a special position.

  4. Non-camera-ready advertising will be billed at the gross rate plus non-commissionable production charges, which include charges for camera work, typesetting, layout and other mechanical production. The standard camera charge is USD 10 per photo/illustration; other production charges are billed hourly at USD 60 per hour (USD 30 minimum).

  5. Frequency discounts are based on the number of paid insertions within a 12-month period from date of first ad. To qualify for any discount, a signed contract must be submitted to the publisher designating the anticipated number of ads per issue during contract year. When higher than contracted rates are earned, rebates will be applied to the next insertion. Short rate is charged if frequency is not fullfilled within contract year. For advertisers receiving a 6X frequency, publisher will repeat the last published advertisement unless a new advertisement is received by deadline.

  6. Payment must accompany all insertions until an application for credit is approved. Upon credit approval, payment is due net 30 days from invoice date (2% of the net if paid by 10 days from invoice date). Any advertiser who does not pay within 30 days will be placed on a prepayment basis. Discounts may be taken only by those who pay in advance or within 30 days from invoice date.

  7. Past due accounts: No further advertising may be placed for an account 60 or more days past due. Once the account has been brought current, insertions may continue to run as scheduled.

  8. Service charge: A service charge of 5% per month will be charged on all accounts held over 30 days.

  9. The publisher reserves the right to change advertising rates without notice.
