Technical Requirements

Ads must be produced in a digital format and must meet the following technical requirements:

  • Platform: Apple Macintosh
  • Media: DVD or CD-ROM
  • Programs: InDesign v5 (CS3) or below, QuarkXPress v7 or below, Illustrator v13 (CS3) or below, FreeHand v11 or below, Photoshop v10 (CS3) or below
  • Screen Ruling: 60 lpi

Please include all pictures and fonts to be used in the ad. In addition, we require a reliable ad proof (iris proof) as well as a separate black and white print. We cannot guarantee, be responsible for, or be held liable for any ad delivered to us that fails to meet these requirements.

All materials submitted must be in the CMYK color model with no spot colors included.

Data produced on Windows should follow the above criteria; however, it will then require conversion by an outside service to produce a usable digital format, which will cost an additional service fee.
