Coaches' Tours

Let Success in Soccer take you on the tour of a lifetime! Our coaches' tours will give you insight into Germany's youth development at both the amateur and professional levels. You will have opportunities to interact with coaches and watch several professional matches and training sessions. Tour participants will receive four continuing education points from U.S. Soccer. Join us for a unique soccer adventure that combines top-quality coaching education with a personal experience of Germany's soccer culture!   WHEN:   October 29–November 8, 2009   WHERE:  1. SAMPLE TOUR ITINERARY    Thursday  Depart USA to Germany (overnight flight)  Friday  AM: Arrive at Frankfurt airport, travel to hotel  PM: Welcome/orientation, watch professional match in evening  Saturday  AM: Classroom: DFB talent promotion  PM: Watch professional match, visit Old Town of Cologne, dinner at local restaurant  Sunday  AM: Observe 1. FC Köln youth games, followed by discussion with coaches  PM: Watch professional match  Monday  AM: City tour, visit Cologne Cathedral, lunch at local Bräuhaus  PM: Staff game at Sports and Olympic Museum, possible professional match  Tuesday  AM: Visit 1. FC Köln training facility, observe training of first team, lunch at club restaurant  PM: Classroom: 1. FC Köln talent promotion, observe youth training, discussion with coaches  Wednesday  AM: Visit Bayer Leverkusen training facility, observe training of first team  PM: Classroom: 1. Jugend-Fussball-Schule Köln talent promotion, observe youth training, discussion with coaches, possible UEFA Champions League game  Thursday  AM: Visit Borussia Mönchengladbach, observe training of first team, stadium tour  PM: Classroom: Borussia Mönchengladbach talent promotion, observe youth training, discussion with coaches  Friday  AM: Classroom: DFB Youth National Team development, Q and A session  PM: Training session by DFB representative, watch professional match  Saturday  AM: Visit city of home game team, lunch at local restaurant  PM: Watch professional match, dinner and farewell  Sunday  AM: Travel to Frankfurt airport, return to USA
